GEG To Design Disaster Communication Training Package Plan International West Africa Regional Office (WARO) has engaged GEG to provide a Disaster Communication Training Package to grow their capacity to prepare for and respond to disasters in the region. The Disaster Communication Training will focus on the development of the media relations and other skills needed to effectively communicate during a disaster response. Delivered in English and French, the training will include simulation and practical applicaiton of skills for both communication and non-communicaiton staff. "GEG's combined field operations and training development experience appealed to us. We're looking forward to working together,"said Stefanie Conrad Plan Regional Manager, Communication and Building Relationships. "It's refreshing to work with an organization that is investing on the front end in elevating their ability communicate during a disaster response," said GEG Partner and project manager, Leslie VanSant.
